About PharmD
In 2016, Faculty of Pharmacy has moved to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program which is an undergraduate academic credential. Graduates of the LIMU PharmD program will be the leaders of Libyan health system transformation. Students wishing to pursue a career as a pharmacist are encouraged to join the LIMU PharmD program.
To qualify PharmD graduates who are able to provide ethical and professional pharmaceutical care services to the community. and to be the seed to change the traditional pharmaceutical services and education in the country.
To be an internationally recognized program in pharmacy education, innovation and sustainability
Provide and develop innovative leaders in the fields of pharmacy practice.
Help students integrate basic, clinical, and behavioral sciences and use their applications to solve patient care problems in pharmaceutical care.
Provide an open and safe professional learning environment that helps students acquire self-learning and life-long learning skills through the use of active learning strategies, critical thinking, integration, problem solving, innovation and creativity.
Develop field training programs for program students and link them to the labor market.
Direct and support the capabilities of the program students to conduct scientific research.
