Faculty of Pharmacy Dean at the Libyan International Medical University Participates in a Regional Seminar on Developing Pharmacy Education in the Arab World

As part of the special celebrations forth International Pharmacists Day, Dr. Salma Bukhatwa, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Libyan International Medical University, participated on the 25th of September 2020 in a symposium on developing pharmaceutical education to ensure that it meets the requirements and needs of the labor market.

Participants of the symposium included Dr. Abdel Nasser Senjab, \”Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University – Arab Republic of Egypt\”, Dr. Muhammad Al-Rahal, “Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Lebanese International University-Lebanon,” Dr. Jamila Hassyan, \”Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Damascus University – Syria\”, Dr. Mustafa Fahmy, \”Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the Sultanate of Oman\”, Dr. Ayman Nooruddin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sharjah – United Arab Emirates, \”Dr. Rab\’a Al-Rousan,\” Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Isra University – Jordan, \”Dr. Haider Al-Taktagi,\” Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Baghdad University for Medical Sciences – Iraq \”in addition to Dr. Ali Ibrahim President of the Arab Pharmacists Union.

The virtual seminar through Zoom had a very wide participation of young pharmacists from all over the Arab world, and the feedback was very positive about the seminar that dealt with aspects the professional and educational aspects.
