Activities of the Tenth Scientific Day for Pharmacy Programs Held Successfully
It was a joyful day and one of the distinguished events that the Pharmacy Programs at the International University are known for organizing.
The activities of the Tenth Scientific Day commenced on Monday morning, April 20, 2026, at Libya Al-Waada Hall.
The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Mohamed Saad Ambarek, along with a number of university leaders and distinguished guests, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Prof. Adel Al-Tuwati, and:
- Dr. Mariam Al-Shailabi – Director of the PharmD Program
- Prof. Suleiman Al-Sharif – Director of the Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy
- Dr. Ismail Adam – Director of the Master’s Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Also in attendance were the program team, the event’s Gold Sponsor, Al-Qalaa Pharmacy, the Silver Sponsor, Al-Mustaqbal Pharmacy, exhibitors, professionals working in pharmaceutical sciences, and students.
The ceremony featured welcoming remarks emphasizing the importance of organizing scientific days and their role in showcasing students’ abilities and skills, highlighting what they have learned and acquired, while also providing a platform to demonstrate their innovations and talents.
Speakers also praised the fruitful and integrative partnership between the university and a number of pharmacies, institutions, and organizations.
The opening session also included a valuable scientific lecture delivered by Dr. Ali Al-Shuwaidi entitled:
“Role of the Pharmacist in the Libyan Food and Drug Control Center.”
